Who we are
This website is run by Ashley Park House Limited, Ashley Park House, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, E45 RW32. We decide how the personal information described below is used.
For anything about your personal information, e-mail us at margaret@ashleypark.com.
What we use your information for
Answering your enquiry
- What happens: when you send our contact form or e-mail us, we receive the details you give us, such as your names, contact details and event plans. Our contact form is a Google Form, so your answers are stored by Google.
- Why: to reply to you, and to plan and hold your event.
- Basis: steps you ask us to take before a booking, and carrying out your booking (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- Required answers: the form marks the questions we need. Without them we cannot answer your enquiry.
- How long: we keep your enquiry for up to 2 years after your event. If you don’t book, we keep it for up to 12 months after your last message.
- Marketing: we don’t send marketing e-mails.
Understanding how our website is used (only if you accept)
- What happens: if you press “Accept” in the cookie banner, Google Analytics records how visitors use our website: for example, which pages are visited, how people find us and which buttons they press.
- Why: to improve the site.
- Before you choose: nothing from Google Analytics loads until you accept.
- Basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
- Withdrawing: you can withdraw your consent at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. This does not affect what was collected before.
- How long: Google keeps the details of each visit for 2 months, and the data that links your visits together for 14 months after your last visit. After that, only overall totals are kept.
Keeping the website secure
- What happens: our web host keeps short technical logs of requests to the site, including IP addresses.
- Why: to protect the website and its forms from misuse and attacks.
- Basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe and working (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- How long: the logs are deleted within 7 days.
Content you choose to load from other services
- What it is: some parts of our pages come from other services:
- films from YouTube and Vimeo;
- posts from Instagram;
- our contact form, from Google Forms;
- on one of our pages, a calendar from Google Calendar.
- When it loads: each one loads only when you press its button, and the button or a note next to it says where it comes from.
- What the service receives: pressing the button sends your IP address and browser details to that service, which may set its own cookies.
- Basis: your consent, given by pressing the button (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
- Withdrawing: you can withdraw it by not pressing the button again and by deleting that service’s cookies in your browser. This does not affect what was already sent.
- Who is responsible:
- We and the service are jointly responsible for passing your information to the service when you press the button.
- The service alone is responsible for what it does with it afterwards.
- You can use your rights with us or with the service. The services’ own policies:
- Google (YouTube, Google Forms, Google Calendar): https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/privacy
- Instagram: https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy
We make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

- Our e-mail provider.
